Port Douglas Quicksilver Cat
We had to be up early today as we were being picked up by the Quicksilver coach to go on a reef tour. The bus arrived at 7:30am and we had to drive to Port Douglas to catch the Quicksilver catamaran to the outer reef pontoon to spend the day. The trip on the boat took 11/2hrs and by the end of the trip a few people were violently ill but not us as we took the deterrent.
What a day we had as they gave us a great lunch when we arrived we could go snorkeling, scuba diving and into the sub to see the fish without getting wet, viewing platform. By the time we did all this it was time to board the boat back to Port Douglas we arrived there at 5:20pm. Then we had to travel back to Cairns dropping off people at different places before we arrived at our park.
Some reef fish and coral. We had a fantastic day with the McKinley's & Bamforth's now we only have one day left in Cairns to get organized to go on to the Cape.
