Today we had a late rise after yesterday's adventures. We left camp at 8:30am to take a very scenic drive to Chilli Beach When we got there we had a walk on the beach and took some photo's for a short while.
Now we went to Portland road to visit a cafe for morning tea. While we were all sitting having a lovely coffee and tea on a beautiful veranda overlooking the water a large scrub python (cecil) curled up in the rafters.
On the way to Mt Tozier little Ian was in the lead and he saw our first cassowary and took a great photo he all so saw 3 big pigs and 4 piglets on the side of the road.
We went through the Pescoe River which was on the main road and was not as treacherous as the crossing we had been further down the river yesterday.
Next stop was Wenlock river where we had lunch and a swim for awhile as it was such a lovely place and the water had a lovely little flow so there was no croc's swimming with us.
Well now we are almost at Archer River Roadhouse to stay the night. So we paid for our camping in the shop and then the boys found a spot to set up camp.
We did some washing while the boy's had a quite drink. So we decided to have dinner at the roadhouse which we had a Archer burger which was the biggest burger I have had. Now we are all sitting around having a cup of tea.
