Everyone met at the end of the track at 7:30am. Budd's in lead and Fox's tail end Charlie today. The track was not bad a few rough spots along the way lots of little wallaby's on the side of the road and they were a bit slow hopping across the road.
Saltwater Creek
We had a few stops to do today and the one is saltwater camp the water in this creek was very black probably from the trees.
Sweetwater Lagoon
Next stop sweetwater camp nice lagoon but the mossies are think here.

Charlies Mine & bottle house
Now the road is getting dusty when we arrived at Coen little Ian saw a sign to Charlies mine so we had to go and check it out what a strange place and there was a very strange man that owned it.
Merluna Station
We pulled into Merluna Station at around 3:00pm set up camp and it was a very hot day today so into the pool as there were no croc's in it so we sat in there for awhile to cool off.. We had booked into the homestead for dinner and it was roast beef and vegies so it was a nice change from having to cook and wash up also they had free tea and coffee on hand. What a great place to stay. Tonight little Ian received the shackle for taking us to Charlie's mine as there were no other nominations. So it went back to the Bamforth's car again.
