Heading out of St George
As we have another long day of traveling today we thought it would be good to get on the road early again. On the road at 5:45am we had to have a good eye on the road looking out for kangaroos as it was still very dark..
The wording and everything might be a little off beat as the typing in the car with the very rough roads out here is very difficult and we have to dodge dead wildlife on the road so I do appologise if I don't make a lot of scene at sometimes.
Well getting back to the traveling and the sun is just appearing up which is just beautiful and you don't get to see then like this in Sydney. 2Hrs to Roma along this rough road I think which was affected by the big flood they had out here in March this year had a look at some photos while we wee in St George really amazing.

Roma at last 8:00am now we can have a 15min break get out of the car and stretch our legs this town does not look to bad. We are now back on the road has not improved much still very bouncy not good for the typing as I keep hitting the wrong key thank goodness for spell check..
Well we have now passed Carnarvon gorge turn off at 10:40am on to Emerald expected time of arrival is 12:15 where we will fill up with fuel.
After Emerald we stop at a small town called Capella for lunch which was really good as we were getting very hungry by now as it was just after 1:00pm. So out we get make a quick sandwich eat it in a hurry with a quick drink, back in the car and on the road again. I took the wheel now first time since we have left Sydney must be scared of my driving. (I didn't think I was that bad). We still have Ian and Rhonda behind us. The road is still very bad in spots and make passing traffic a challenge. We are expected to arrive at a free camp site north of Charters Towers at about 6:30tonight which will be very late.
